By chance in the middle of your preparation you open your Instagram or LinkedIn and all your insecurities come crawling back and then you pick up a fight with your bestie/ bf (also another aspirant) just to throw him under the bus stating you are the reason I couldn't do n number of things in life. Your peers getting into Ivy League Universities, clearing various exams gives you anxiety at the top of your breathe. This story is not only mine but I believe of all the other UPSC aspirants who have deeply dived into the ocean of knowledge. After reading all the syllabus for this journey, Degrees just seem to be a paper because certainly back in College, we all chased which official brands paper would you like to be hanged on your wall (Just like any other clothing). I did start late because of my Law Degree and it had it both pros and cons but after nearly 2 years of serious preparation here I am again starting for Prelims for 2024 with all my doubts and insecurities back... All I needed to hear was my mom telling me EVERYONE HAS A DIFFERENT STORY, DON'T COMPARE YOURS TO OTHERS...
Silence makes you sick . In the epoch of women empowerment, we refuse to believe harsh reality. Why is it so hard to accept the road to truthfulness. A couple of hours ago, I was devastated and agitated by a story of a girl for whom I would refuse to be into her shoes even in ma terriblest nightmares. Number three she quoted, and I can still recall those phonetics that came out of her pale rosy lips which were colored by pastel red shade. ‘Three’ Years she was forced to a sexual abuse by her own dearest member. At the age of eight, it started and that innocent soul was unaware of what was happening to her flawless sensitive skin. A slight touch on her crotch would leave her soul to ashes till date. That adorable girl with ebony hair, apricot skin and radiant pupils must have shred countless tears, numerous woes and a life she could never dare to trust again. But the abuse was not enough, after ten years of silent cries she gathered the courage to speak up not because she wanted to...
